- Employers submit a Recommendation Application for their selected candidate.
- Upon approval, the CEDC issues a Recommendation Certificate to the worker.
- Workers then use this certificate to apply for Canadian permanent residency through Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
If needed, candidates can also get help applying for an RCIP-specific work permit while waiting for their PR.
