The Express Entry Stream is aligned with the federal Express Entry system, which manages the applications of skilled workers seeking permanent residence in Canada. To be considered under this stream, applicants must:

  • Create an Express Entry profile and meet the eligibility requirements of at least one of the federal economic immigration programs: the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), or the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP).

Successful applicants nominated by the PEI PNP through the Express Entry Stream will be awarded additional Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points, significantly increasing their chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency from the federal government.
