Quebec evaluates the candidate’s profile based on the selection criteria also known as the Quebec points calculator used by the province to assess the eligibility for the RSWP. This criterion includes factors such as work experience, education, age, and language proficiency in French and/or English.

The highest-ranking applicants are invited to apply for a Certificat de Selection du Quebec (CSQ).

Eligibility Criteria of Quebec RSWP Draw

To be invited to a Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP), one is required to create an account online on Quebec’s immigration portal, Mon projet Québec. Once the account is created, enter your personal and professional details such as age, education, language proficiency, work experience, and other relevant information.

The profile will be assessed based on the selection grid criteria utilized by the government to evaluate the applicant’s eligibility for the RSWP. If the candidate meets the minimum requirements and the profile is deemed competitive, one may be invited to apply for a Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ). The provincial government organizes regular draws from the pool of applicants who have made their profiles on Mon projet Québec and have mentioned that they are interested in immigrating to Quebec through the RSWP.

The candidates are selected according to the point-based system and the highest-ranking candidates are invited to apply for a CSQ. Quebec decides a minimum score threshold for each draw and applicants who meet the threshold are shortlisted for an invitation to apply for a CSQ.
