If you’ve received an invitation in this latest BC PNP draw, you now have 30 days to submit a complete application via the British Columbia PNP’s online portal, along with the necessary supporting documents and processing fee.

It’s crucial to ensure that you apply before your nomination expires. If your application is approved by the BC PNP, you will receive a nomination package, which can be used to apply for a Canadian permanent residency visa.

In 2023, British Columbia invited a total of 10,061 candidates across 51 Skills Immigration draws. The province conducted approximately four draws every month under the BC PNP. A similar trend is expected to continue in 2024. Securing a provincial nomination under the BC PNP requires you to first confirm your eligibility for the specific stream you’re interested in, whether it’s Skilled Immigration or Entrepreneur Immigration.

Once confirmed, you’ll need to create an Expression of Interest (EOI) profile, providing accurate details about your education, work experience, and language skills. If your EOI is selected, you’ll receive a provincial nomination certificate from the BC PNP in a subsequent draw, which can then be used to apply for Canadian permanent residency through Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
