Bardish Chagger, Minister of Small Business and Tourism, said that Canada is open to business and tourism, and welcomes people from all over the world. Jorge Morfin, Destination Canada’s representative in Mexico, said that thanks to the elimination of the visa, there has been a significant increase in the number of Mexicans visiting Canada. He said that growth expectations for this year in the Mexican market are 36% but could reach 50% given the good performance in recent months.
