The strongest daily total was recorded on July 24, when approximately 31,600 overseas residents arrived in Canada.

Statistics Canada reported that air travel from five overseas countries hosting FIFA World Cup matches in Vancouver and Toronto increased by 18.7% compared with the previous year.
