• Engineering & Built Environment: Civil, mechanical, electrical engineers; industrial, electrical, and mechanical technologists/technicians; construction managers; inspectors; estimators; survey/geomatics.
• Business & Operations: Administrative officers/assistants, payroll, procurement, HR pros and recruiters, marketing/PR managers and professionals, accountants/auditors, financial analysts/advisors.
• Skilled trades & Transportation: Electricians (industrial and construction), carpenters, machinists, heavy-duty mechanics, auto technicians, aircraft mechanics, heavy equipment operators.
• Public & Social services: Secondary teachers, ECEs, social/community service workers, by-law officers, counsellors.
• Processing & Agriculture (REDI In-Demand Skills): Food & beverage processing, plastics, mineral & metal processing, material handlers, construction labourers, farm and livestock roles, home support workers.

If your NOC falls within these clusters and your offer is in the target divisions, you are in a strong position.

How to Respond If You Were Invited

• Check your stream rules – Review the Employer Job Offer page for Foreign Worker, International Student, or In-Demand Skills to confirm you meet all criteria.
• Gather documents – Use the official document checklist to make sure nothing is missing.
• Employer action – Your employer must submit the application for approval of the employment position within 14 calendar days of the invitation email (via the Employer Portal).
• Candidate action – Log in to the OINP e-Filing Portal and submit your application and fee within 17 calendar days.
  Note: Your new JOXX file number is different from your EOI number (the EOI entry will be greyed out—this is normal).
