How Does the Career Employment Pathway Work?
This route suits graduates who have secured a full-time, permanent job offer directly related to their field of study from a Manitoba employer. Applicants need to have completed at least a one-year program at a designated institution, hold a valid post-graduation work permit or other valid work permit, meet CLB 7 across all four language skills, and apply within three years of graduating. There is no EOI and no competitive points grid, so a qualifying candidate can move straight to a direct application.

How Does the Graduate Internship Pathway Work?
Master’s and PhD graduates who completed an approved research internship, such as a Mitacs Elevate or Globalink placement, in Manitoba can apply under this pathway without needing a job offer at all. The same core requirements apply: a valid post-graduation work permit, CLB 7 in all four skills, and an application submitted within three years of graduation. This pathway is particularly well suited to research-focused graduates in STEM fields who completed their thesis work in the province.
How Does the Student Entrepreneur Pathway Work?
Graduates who would rather build something of their own than seek employment can pursue this route, provided they can show majority ownership, meet the $150,000 investment threshold, and create at least one qualifying job. As with the province’s other business-focused streams under the Provincial Nominee Program, a performance agreement holds the applicant to these investment and job targets within roughly 20 months.

What Documents Should Graduates Prepare?
