Alberta Worker Expression of Interest Update Brings New Edit Function and Refund Option

The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program has launched a major Alberta Worker Expression of Interest Update, gave candidates greater flexibility when managing their immigration profiles. Refund Opportunity for Certain Applicants

Alberta has also introduced a limited refund policy

Candidates may request a refund if:

  • They created and paid for a WEOI between April 7 and May 26, 2026.
  • They cancelled their profile solely to correct information.

However, refunds are not available for candidates who:

  • Cancelled during an active invitation round.
  • Cancelled solely to update an Express Entry profile.
