The draw focused on category-based selection, emphasizing proficiency in the French language.  Candidates needed a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 365, the lowest observed this year.

Recent Draw Highlights

This draw follows a general draw on January 31, where 730 candidates were invited with a minimum CRS score of 541.  Two additional draws in January showcased varying CRS requirements: 1,040 candidates on January 23 with a CRS of 543 and 1,510 candidates on January 10 with a CRS score of 546.

Express Entry in 2023

In 2023, IRCC conducted 42 draws, issuing ITAs to over 110,000 candidates.  Aligning with the Immigration Levels Plan, these draws supported the 2023 and 2024 admissions targets.

Post Graduation Work Permits Update

Express Entry candidates often rely on PGWP for Canadian work experience As of September 1, recent changes impact eligibility, excluding students from private colleges without a curriculum licensing agreement with public colleges.
